Import and export
Export notes to Markdown, HTML and PDF, and import Markdown
Your notes should be easy to take anywhere. Folevi exports a single page or everything you have, and imports Markdown and plain text, on every plan.
Every plan, including Free.
Export a page
From a page’s ••• menu, export it as Markdown, HTML or PDF. PDF goes through your browser’s print dialog (Save as PDF), using the same clean HTML. Formulas become MathML in HTML and PDF, and flowcharts are written as Mermaid in Markdown.
Export everything as a ZIP
In Settings → Import & export, download everything in your Personal as one ZIP. It holds every document as Markdown in folders that match your sidebar, the attachments in an assets folder, and a manifest.json that describes the folders, documents and files. Owners and admins can export a whole workspace the same way.
Import Markdown and text
Choose Markdown or text files (.md, .markdown or .txt), a ZIP, or a whole folder. Folevi turns them into blocks: headings, lists, checklists and the rest. Images the Markdown points to by a relative path are uploaded and become image blocks. Up to 50 documents go in one batch, and Folevi reports anything it couldn’t bring across.
Nothing is locked in
Export works on every plan, including Free. If you move to a smaller plan, your notes stay yours and you can still export all of them.
