Type / and pick what comes next
Every line in a Folevi note is a block. Type / on any line to turn it into a heading, a to-do, a table, a flowchart or a voice note. Keep typing to filter the menu, then press Return.

What the / menu adds
- Write: text, headings, quotes, callouts, toggles, code and dividers.
- Plan: to-dos, bulleted and numbered lists, today’s date or any date.
- Organise: tables, collections as a table, gallery or kanban, sub-pages and links to pages.
- Draw and explain: flowcharts, whiteboards, Mermaid diagrams and TeX formulas.
- Add media: audio recordings, images (yours or from Unsplash), files and bookmarks.
- Ask Foli: continue writing, summarize the note, find action items, make an outline or brainstorm.
Filter as you type
The menu filters by name and by what each block is for, so /check finds To-do, /rec finds Audio recording and /flow finds Flowchart. Use the arrow keys to pick and Return to insert. Shortcuts like # for a heading and [] for a to-do work too.
Move and nest blocks
Drag a block by its handle, or select it and press ⌥⇧↑ or ⌥⇧↓ to move it. ⌥⇧→ nests it under the block above, which turns a list into an outline. Nested blocks move with their parent.

- Yes. Select a block and press Option Shift Up or Down to move it, and Option Shift Right to nest it under the block above.
